TRIVENTO SHIRAZ - MALBEC - Argentina
I used to like Argentinian wine but after the "Pumas" dumped the Jocks out of the Rugby WC Quarter Finals, this is revolting! It slipped down dead easy though - Great combination of grapes, medium to full bodied.

KINGSTON ESTATE Petit Verdot
I'm too emotional about the Aussie's losing a game of rugby to say too much. Watch out for this grape in the future - the next big thing I reckon. It ripens later than many other grapes so 2004 is getting good. Give it plenty of air.

LEONARDO CHIANTI - ITALY
Now then - we love this 'cos the Jocks beat the Italians!! Actually we've had this one before and one or two of you made very positive comments. I hope it goes down as well again.

DEVILS CORNER Sauvignon Blanc - Tasmania
Similar Climate and environment to Marlborough in NZ, this is excellent. All that NZ Sauvignon Blanc has to offer, but from Tasmania! Try not to think of the Tasman Devil whilst drinking.

RUNAMOK Chardonnay
More Aussie fare - this is moulded in the classic Aussie Chardonnay style but it manages to maintain all the finer qualities of Chardonnay without the usual Aussie syrup!
