COTES DU RHONE - M. CHAPOUTIER Love of wine and nature have led the Maison M. CHAPOUTIER to adopt biodynamic cultivation. "Let the soil speak", and it will cultivate it's own specific style. Braille has been present on all CHAPOUTIER labels since '96. Maurice Monier who owns the Hermitage plot, also invented the first version of abbreviated Braille. This pays tribute to the man but also reaches out to all people with sight-impairments & lovers of fine wine. |

CUSUMANO MERLOT - SICILY Two brothers have experimented with Daddy's vineyard for about 12 years until finally happy enough with their results to release their own wines in 2001. Vines up to 40 years old and a modern approach is a fine combination and this is just dandy! |

CAPELL'S COURT SAUVIGNON BLANC Part of the larger Linton Park Wine Estate, and overlooking the Paarl region towards Table Mountain, they have their own microclimate due to the higher vineyards and cooling breezes. Good quality stuff and they recommend Asparagus, Bouillabaisse, Grilled fish, shellfish or calamari! |

des Montys The Maine & Sevre rivers converge south of Nantes in NW France. Look out for the term sur lie on a label - the wine is bottled directly of its sediment or lees, which helps keep the creamy, yeasty flavour and a slight CO2 prickle! Best with the local sea-food & generally drunk young. |
