FAIRFIELDS ESTATE New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc 2004
Another good example of New Zealand Sauvignon. I don't believe there
is a bad one on the market. Enjoy - we do!

SOAVE 'La Scala' - Campagnola NE Italy
The Soave Classico hills are situated in North East Italy near Verona.
All Soaves contain a blend of the generic Italian grapes, Trebbiano
and Garganega. This clean crisp wine also has some Pinot Bianco. A
good example of fresh, easy going Italian white.

REDVALE INHERITANCE Chardonnay Colombard 2003
This is the
Aussie blend to watch closest. It seems that Semillon Chardonnay is on
the way out (pity - I like it !) and the lighter Colombard grape is being
used instead. This blend has been used for a while although, a greater
attention to detail and quality is now being affected. |

CHILENO MERLOT Rosé - 2003
Made from the delicious Merlot grape, this has been created specifically
for the UK market. This is a drier style of blend with the result that
it is a fruit driven wine with a deep pink colour. This Rose is a crisp,
medium bodied rose with fresh aromas of summer fruits and berries. |

MORANDE PINOT NOIR - 2005
A nice young wine. Pinot Noir is a favourite of mine at the moment. Light
in colour and texture however there is plenty of flavour here. A great
accompaniment for vegetable soups, white meat, game birds, oily fish
and dishes traditionally associated with white wines. |

WENTE ZINFANDEL - San Francisco Bay - 2001 As with all Californian Zinfandels, this is a full-bodied spicy wine with a good deep colour. With plenty of "tannic backbone" this has developed into a cracking wine. |
